The 410 is the high-speed Mitchell 300: the same French reel and features, geared at 5-to-1 for fast lure retrieves.
A reel geared for fast retrieves wears its gears harder than a standard 300, and a hard-used 410 can feel rough or notchy.
Price range is INFERRED from completed eBay listings; verify against current sold comps before bidding.
About 23 classic midnight-blue French 410s are listed, one for parts, with most at $45–75 delivered. That count excludes the later graphite 410 UL. The 410 is the high-speed sibling of the 300, so it suits fast lure retrieves. Shipping varies wildly here, from $0 to $23.64, and decides several rankings. Completeness drives price: a set with case, box and spare spool is about $86. Two listings ask $168–196 with nothing in the titles to justify it. For fishing, buy the $42–49 Buy It Now reels; collectors should take the boxed set.

A midnight-blue 410 High Speed, Buy It Now at about $42 delivered ($35 plus $7.09) from a 99.9% seller, below the $45–75 band. The title makes no working claim, so ask for confirmation that the bail trips and the anti-reverse locks before you buy.
Vintage Garcia Mitchell 410 High Speed Spinning Reel Midnight Blue, France

A French 410 the seller says works, about $49 delivered ($40.45 plus $8.27) from a 99.8% seller, Buy It Now. It's a plain user reel at the low end of the band, a safe first high-speed spinner. Expect to add fresh grease if it hasn't been opened in years.
Vintage Garcia Mitchell 410 Spinning Fishing Reel Made in France Works

Listed as fully working and serviced, about $66 delivered. The catch is $23.64 shipping on a $42.30 reel, so use Best Offer to claw some back. Even so, it's mid-band for the only serviced 410 here, from a 99.4% seller.
Mitchell 410 Vintage Fishing Reel Fully Working Serviced Great Usable Condition

The complete set: spare spool, original case and box, about $86 delivered ($74.99 plus $11.50) from a 100% seller. That's only a modest premium over a loose working 410, while two bare reels here ask twice as much. Ask for photos of the box ends and the case interior.

See all current listings on eBay ⟶The 410 is the high-speed Mitchell 300: the same French reel and features, geared at 5-to-1 for fast lure retrieves. Garcia's 1973 catalogue presented it exactly that way, with stainless steel internals throughout.
It was made from 1966 to 1985, and the 410 DL of 1971 was the first presentation model in the midnight-blue finish that many collectors now associate with the model. It is sometimes described as an automatic-bail reel, but it is not; it uses the same bail as the 300.
Our latest snapshot found about 23 classic French 410s, most at $45 to $75 delivered, after setting aside the later graphite 410 UL and the parts listings. Boxed reels with the original case are the collector buys.
A few listings asked two to four times the going rate, so compare before paying up. Because fast gearing wears harder than the standard 300's, check the gears before anything else.
